Becoming Her: The Woman I Had to Grow Into While Building My Dreams

Becoming Her: The Woman I Had to Grow Into While Building My Dreams

Hey, I'm so glad you're here.

When I started Cocome Couture, I wasn't the woman I am today. I was scattered, apologetic, and constantly shrinking myself to fit into everyone else's expectations. I was a mother, an entrepreneur, a daughter, a friend β€” and I was trying to be perfect at all of it. Spoiler alert: that doesn't work.

This brand wasn't just born from a desire to create beautiful clothing. It was born from a desperate need to become the woman I knew I could be. The one who didn't apologize for her ambitions. The one who understood that luxury wasn't about price tags β€” it was about how you felt in your own skin.

The Turning Point

There was this moment, probably around 2 AM while folding laundry and sketching designs, when I realized something had to shift. I couldn't keep living in two worlds β€” the "responsible mom" and the "ambitious dreamer." They weren't separate. They were the same woman, and she deserved to take up space.

That's when everything changed. I stopped asking for permission and started building permission into my daily life. I created non-negotiable routines: morning meditation, even if it's just five minutes. Time to design without guilt. Honest conversations with my family about what I needed. These weren't luxuries β€” they were survival.

The Real Lessons

Building Cocome Couture taught me that growth isn't linear. Some days I felt unstoppable; other days I questioned everything. But I learned that the questioning was part of the process. Every setback was data. Every "no" was redirecting me toward a bigger "yes."

I also learned that being vulnerable isn't weakness β€” it's magnetism. When I stopped pretending to have it all figured out, people actually connected with me. Real connection became the foundation of everything.

Your Turn

This brand exists for women like you β€” women who are tired of choosing between ambition and authenticity, between motherhood and dreams, between luxury and realness. You don't have to choose. You get to be all of it.

Cocome Couture is more than clothing. It's a daily reminder that you're allowed to evolve, to want more, and to become her β€” whoever that is for you.

Welcome to the journey. I can't wait to see who you become.
